Rick and his beautiful wife Mary Ann were recently married. Together they have 4 wonderful sons, 3 lovely daughters, 9 incredible grandchildren plus 1 great-grand. Before Rick joined Tioga Realty in 2005, he was in the Hospitality industry for 25 years. Rick was the General Manager of the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Gainesville for 13 years.
Rick’s involvement in the community includes serving on the Steve Spurrier and Will Muschamp Scramble for Kids golf tournament. This organization raises money for the Boys and Girls club of Alachua County, Girls Place Inc., and the Children’s Home Society of Florida. Rick worked as a sponsor for the “Stop Children’s Cancer” organization. Rick’s other fund-raising efforts were with the Gainesville Quarterback Club golf tournament. This tournament is a major fundraiser that financially assists student athletes with partial scholarships. Rick worked on the Women’s Council of Realtors golf tournament to raise money for the local chapter and to donate funds to the Girls Place Inc. Rick is actively involved in the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors® where he chaired the Orientation and the Technology Committees, and Chaired Professional Standards.
Rick currently Chairs the Grievance Committee, Rick served on the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors Board of Directors for 6 years, Rick is the 2015 Past President of Women’s Council of Realtors and was the Chairman of the Scramble for Kids for 2014 & 2015. Rick is also deeply involved with the Church that he attends. Rick was part of a Mission Trip to Peru in 2019 where he was part of the Medical team and was asked to speak at a Business Conference for Business leaders in Piura Peru. Rick truly believes that giving back to the community that he lives in is paramount to his success as a REALTOR®. Rick was honored by the local chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors by being selected as the 2009 & 2017 REALTOR® OF THE YEAR. Rick has also been the recipient of the JAMES M. PARRISH AWARD, for his Community Service
